Paragon builds most kilns to order once your order is placed. We email your confirmed ship date and tracking.

  • The freight carrier calls you to book a delivery window.
  • Delivery is curbside with a liftgate. Have a helper or hand truck to move it inside.

Enter your ZIP in "See your delivered price" above the Add to cart button to see freight and your delivered total.

Authorized Paragon dealer · full factory warranty

Brand new and shipped direct from Paragon, so it carries Paragon's full factory warranty. If something goes wrong, call us and we handle the claim with the factory for you.

Warranty terms are in the Warranty and support section below.

Returns: request within 15 days, unused

Because kilns are heavy and often built to order, returns are limited, so we'd rather help you pick the right one up front:

  • Ask within 15 days of purchase or 2 days after delivery, whichever comes first. We issue a return authorization (RA).
  • It must be new, unused (beyond the factory test fire) and in its original packaging.
  • A restocking fee of at least 25% applies, up to 50% on custom, 3-phase or made-to-order units. Return freight is on the buyer unless we made an error.
  • Damaged in transit? Note it on the delivery receipt, send us photos and we'll help with the freight claim.

Will it work in my space? Power check

Most 240V kilns need their own circuit and the matching outlet, installed by an electrician. Homes are usually 240V; schools and commercial buildings are often 208V, so pick the voltage that matches your panel.

Send us a photo of your breaker panel or outlet and we'll confirm before your kiln is built: 470-264-3563 (call or text).

What’s included
The furnace, assembled and wiredParagon builds and wires it at the factory. The hinged door with its counter-weight handle and the observation port are part of the body.
Built-in baseThe base is part of the kiln body, so nothing separate ships for it and there is nothing to bolt together.
Digital controller, factory-installedParagon fits and wires the controller before the kiln leaves the factory. Paragon has been renaming and replacing its controller line and dealer listings are out of date at different dates, so we do not print a model name here. We confirm the exact controller with Paragon when you order.
Type-K thermocouple, installedFitted at the factory and wired to the controller. Type-K is standard across the current Paragon range.
Cord and plug — NEMA 6-20RParagon fits a cord with a NEMA 6-20R plug. The plug changes with the voltage option you order, so tell us your service and we confirm the receptacle before the order goes in.
Printed manualsA printed instruction manual for the kiln and a separate guide for the controller. Warranty registration is done online at Paragon, and we do not promise a printed warranty card in the crate because we could not confirm one is packed.
Paragon limited warranty — one yearOne year from purchase on this model, per Paragon's published warranty schedule. Paragon does not warrant the Type-K thermocouple, so treat that as a wear part. Keep your proof of purchase.
Not includedNo shelving, racks or furniture of any kind. The gas injection flow meter for argon is a separate option at order time.

Common questions
What is the HT14 typically used for?
The HT14 is a general-purpose heat treating kiln used by machine shops, fabricators, and schools for hardening, tempering, annealing, and stress-relieving tools, hardware, and alloy parts up to 2000°F.
Can I add gas atmosphere control?
Yes — a Gas Inlet & Flow Meter is available, with an optional solenoid valve for automated control, to reduce oxidation scale during heat treating.
How does the HT14 compare to the HT22?
The HT14 is the more compact model in the HT series. The HT22 offers a significantly larger 21" x 13.25" x 21" chamber for higher-volume loads at the same 2000°F maximum temperature.
Is the warranty valid if I buy from Peach State Pottery?
Yes. Peach State Pottery is an authorized Paragon dealer, so your HT14 comes with Paragon's full one-year manufacturer's warranty. Register your kiln within 30 days of delivery to activate coverage.
Not sure if the HT14 is right for your shop? We'll help you compare chamber sizes, temperature requirements, and power options to find the perfect fit.
