When Additional Fees May Apply
Liftgate service: Required when there's no loading dock or forklift available to unload the freight (typically $75–$150). Residential delivery: Some carriers charge extra for home addresses vs. commercial locations. Limited-access locations: Long gravel roads, mountainous terrain, islands, extremely long driveways, NYC boroughs, and remote regions may incur additional freight fees. We will always contact you before charging anything extra.
Freight Requirements
Kilns and large equipment are delivered via freight carrier and require access by a semi-truck. Please confirm a full-size tractor-trailer can reach your delivery location. If not, we recommend using an alternate address such as a business or warehouse. Failure to notify us of access limitations may result in additional carrier fees, which are the customer's responsibility.

Order ships from production
Once your kiln is ready, it's handed off to a freight carrier. You'll receive a tracking notification.

Carrier contacts you to schedule
All freight deliveries require an appointment. The carrier will call you directly to set a delivery window. Someone must be present to receive the shipment.

Inspect your shipment on arrival
Examine the packaging carefully before signing. If you notice any damage, refuse the delivery, take clear photos, and contact us immediately at sales@peachstatepottery.com. We'll handle the claims process.
Cancellations
Within 24 hours: Cancel at no cost for a full refund.
After 24 hours: Cancellations incur a 3% fee for standard payments (credit card, debit card) or 9% fee for financed payments (Affirm, Shop Pay Installments, etc.).
Made-to-order kilns: If production has already started, manufacturer fees of 25-50% may apply. Notifying us within 24 hours helps minimize or avoid these fees.
After shipment: Subject to our return policy and may include return shipping costs.
