Brand new and shipped direct from HotShot Oven & Kiln, so it carries HotShot's full factory warranty. If something goes wrong, call us and we handle the claim with the factory for you.

Returns: request within 15 days, unused
Because kilns are heavy and often built to order, returns are limited, so we'd rather help you pick the right one up front:
- Ask within 15 days of purchase or 2 days after delivery, whichever comes first. We issue a return authorization (RA).
- It must be new, unused (beyond the factory test fire) and in its original packaging.
- A restocking fee of at least 25% applies, up to 50% on custom, 3-phase or made-to-order units. Return freight is on the buyer unless we made an error.
- Damaged in transit? Note it on the delivery receipt, send us photos and we'll help with the freight claim.

If you are trying to solve a voltage problem, talk to us and to an electrician before you buy it — the right answer is often a different circuit, not a transformer.

What it is notIt is not an adapter and it does not make a 120V oven run on 240V or the reverse. Fitting it is electrical work.
Have an electrician involvedKiln circuits are the single most common electrical mistake we see. A licensed electrician should size and fit this, and they should see the oven's data plate first.

Common questions
Will this let me run a 240V oven on 120V?No. That is not what a step-down transformer does, and nothing in HotShot's range does it. A 240V oven needs a 240V circuit.
Do I need this?Usually not. Most voltage problems are solved by having the right circuit installed. Ask us first — we would rather talk you out of a $899 part you do not need.
Can I fit it myself?It is electrical work on a high-current appliance circuit. Use a licensed electrician.
