Returns: request within 15 days, unused
Because kilns are heavy and often built to order, returns are limited, so we'd rather help you pick the right one up front:
- Ask within 15 days of purchase or 2 days after delivery, whichever comes first. We issue a return authorization (RA).
- It must be new, unused (beyond the factory test fire) and in its original packaging.
- A restocking fee of at least 25% applies, up to 50% on custom, 3-phase or made-to-order units. Return freight is on the buyer unless we made an error.
- Damaged in transit? Note it on the delivery receipt, send us photos and we'll help with the freight claim.
More ways to save · wire, school & military pricing
- Pay by bank wire: 3% off the subtotal, freight included.
- Schools, studios & bulk orders: purchase orders welcome, quoted before funding is approved.
- Military, veterans & first responders: 5% off your whole order.

Overview
HotShot · Kiln Furniture · Furniture KitsShelf and posts as a matched set for one oven, rather than bought piece by piece. HotShot publishes the exact contents of each kit, which is unusual and useful — the counts below are theirs, not ours.
What is in each option
HS-360Four 1" × 2" posts and one 5.5" × 9.5" shelf.
HS-FRKIT360
HS-18KFour 1" × 3" posts and one 6.25" × 17.5" shelf.
HS-FRKIT18K
HS-1200Four 1" × 2", four 1" × 3" and four 1" × 5" posts, and one 9.5" × 11.5" shelf.

What’s included
Contents published, not estimatedHotShot prints the piece count for all three kits. What you see above is what is in the box.
The 1200 kit is the full post setTwelve posts across three heights, which is what lets you run more than one level in that chamber. The 360 and 18K kits are a single shelf and four posts.
Cheaper than the piecesBuying the shelf and the posts separately costs more than the kit on all three ovens. If you need both, the kit is the buy.
Nothing is coatedShelves ship bare. Coat before first use — separator for glass, kiln wash for ceramics.

Common questions
Which kit fits my oven?Go by the model on the plate. All three kits are oven-specific and the shelves are not interchangeable.
Can I buy just the shelf or just the posts?Yes, both are listed separately. But on all three ovens the kit is cheaper than the two bought apart, so only split it if you genuinely need one half.
Is there a kit for the 16G, 18G or 24G?Not as a kit. Those take shelves and posts bought individually — ask us and we will price the set.
Buying an oven at the same timeTell us the oven and we will quote the furniture with it. It usually works out better than adding it later, and it means the oven arrives ready to fire.
