Returns: request within 15 days, unused

Because kilns are heavy and often built to order, returns are limited, so we'd rather help you pick the right one up front:

  • Ask within 15 days of purchase or 2 days after delivery, whichever comes first. We issue a return authorization (RA).
  • It must be new, unused (beyond the factory test fire) and in its original packaging.
  • A restocking fee of at least 25% applies, up to 50% on custom, 3-phase or made-to-order units. Return freight is on the buyer unless we made an error.
  • Damaged in transit? Note it on the delivery receipt, send us photos and we'll help with the freight claim.

Will it work in my space? Power check

Most 240V kilns need their own circuit and the matching outlet, installed by an electrician. Homes are usually 240V; schools and commercial buildings are often 208V, so pick the voltage that matches your panel.

The oven, assembledIt arrives built and wired, with the elements already in place. Set it on its stand, plug it in and fire.
Stand with tool rests at both endsA welded stand, included, with a tool rest at each end — one per door, so you can set hot work down whichever side you open.

Common questions
What kind of circuit does the KF 31.5 need?It's a 240V, 30-amp appliance with a NEMA 6-50 plug — the same class of circuit as a home welder outlet. Have a licensed electrician confirm your panel capacity and run a dedicated line before you fire it; this is not a plug-and-play 120V oven.
Why does the KF Extreme have two doors instead of one?The deep chamber is built to hold full-length swords and long fixed blades. Dual end doors mean you can load a long piece from whichever side is convenient in your shop layout, and unload for quenching without walking the blade all the way back through a single opening.
What blade or billet lengths fit the KF 31.5?The usable chamber is 31.5″ deep, 10″ wide, and 6.25″ tall. As a rule of thumb, plan for blade or billet length a few inches shorter than the chamber depth to leave clearance at both doors — contact us with your exact dimensions and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
How do I know if I need this size versus a different KF Extreme?The KF Extreme line runs from 31.5″ up to 49.5″ of usable depth in roughly 4.5″ steps. Choose based on the longest single piece you regularly harden — going one size larger than your longest current blade gives you room to grow into swords or longer Damascus billets later.
Does buying from Peach State Pottery affect my warranty?No. We are an authorized Evenheat dealer, so your two-year warranty is fully valid and you have direct access to Evenheat's support team. Buying from an unauthorized seller can void your warranty entirely.
