The LB 22.5 features Evenheat's side-element-only design, eliminating rear wall heating elements to achieve dead-nut front-to-back temperature uniformity across the entire 22.5-inch chamber length. Inspired by culinary and long-blade makers, this design prevents overheating at the back wall and allows you to use every inch of chamber space for knives, gun work, or precision heat treating.

Common questions
Why does the LB Series only have side heating elements?Culinary and long-blade makers needed to use the entire length of the chamber without overheating blades at the back wall. By eliminating the rear heating element, Evenheat achieved dead-nut front-to-back temperature uniformity. You can position blades anywhere in the 22.5-inch chamber with zero temperature variation.
What steels can I heat treat at 2200°F?The 2200°F maximum temperature covers the vast majority of steels used by knife makers and machine shops, including high-carbon steels, tool steels, and most stainless alloys. This range is ideal for 1095, 5160, O1, A2, D2, 440C, and similar alloys commonly used in bladesmithing.
How long does the side-opening door stay cool enough to touch?The door itself gets extremely hot during operation, but the cool-touch phenolic handle remains safe to grip throughout the firing. The door shield reduces radiant heat exposure. Always use proper safety equipment and allow adequate cooling time before extended contact with door surfaces.
Is this oven made-to-order or in-stock at Peach State Pottery?This varies by timing. Some LB 22.5 units ship direct from the Evenheat factory in Michigan with a lead time, while others are in-stock at our Atlanta location for immediate shipment. Contact us before ordering to confirm current availability and shipping timeline for your specific order.
Does buying from Peach State Pottery affect my warranty?No. We are an authorized Evenheat dealer. Your two-year warranty is fully valid and you have direct access to Evenheat’s support team. Buying from an unauthorized seller can void your warranty entirely.
