The two 24" shelves cost the same but are cut differently. The JK² shelf has trimmed corners to clear the element channels; the ProFusion 26 shelf is a plain square. Ordering the wrong one means it will not sit flat.

Common questions
Which 24" shelf do I need?JK² kiln, take the JK² shelf — its corners are trimmed to clear the element channels. ProFusion 26, take the plain square. They are the same price, so there is nothing to gain by guessing. If you are not sure which kiln you have, send us the model number off the data plate.
What are the 5", 7" and 8" shelves for?Small work and test tiles. Most people use them as a second surface inside a larger load — set on short posts above a full shelf, they let you stack small pieces without wasting a whole level.
How many do I need?One per level you want to stack. The kiln floor is your bottom surface, so a two-level load needs one shelf. Posts are three or four per level depending on shelf size.
Will a square shelf work in a round kiln?Only the small sizes, as an extra plate inside a load. For a full level in a round kiln you want a full-round or two half-rounds — a square shelf leaves the edges unsupported and blocks airflow at the corners.
