Evenheat · V8 · Parts Evenheat V8 Vitrigraph Parts Four parts · Lid, two floors, stand · V8 only Parts for the Evenheat V8, the small kiln used for vitrigraph pulls. The floor comes two ways and the difference matters: with a vitrigraph hole, so molten glass can run down through it into whatever you are pulling into, or without, if you want the V8 as a conventional small kiln. The stand is what raises the kiln so there is room under the hole to work.
Parts and prices
PartPricePart number
Lid$120.0000342.204
Floor — with vitrigraph hole$184.0000342.200

The holed floor costs $68 more than the plain one. If you are not pulling glass, the plain floor is the right buy. The stand ships as freight; the lid and floors go flat rate.
Key features
The one part you selectA lid, one of the two floors, or the stand. These are separate parts, not a kit.
No kiln, no elementsThe stand does not include the kiln, and the floors do not include elements or a crucible.
Common questions
Can I swap between the two floors later?Yes. Some people own both and change the floor depending on what they are doing that week. If that is your plan, the second floor is the cheaper way to buy flexibility than a second kiln.
Do I need the stand to pull vitrigraph? You need the kiln raised somehow, with safe clearance underneath and something heatproof to catch the pull. Evenheat’s stand is built for it. Improvising this is where people get burnt, so it is not the corner we would cut.
Setting up a V8 for vitrigraph? Tell us what you want to pull and we will tell you which floor, whether you need the stand, and what else is worth having before the first attempt.
