Evenheat · Parts · Heating elementsReplacement heating elements for Evenheat’s HT heat-treating ovens, the Cube 7 glass kiln and the Salt Bath furnaces. The HT-2 (also sold as the HT-27) changed partway through production: serial number 123394 and below takes one element, and 123395 and above takes three. The Cube 7 uses three elements too — one back wall and one per side wall. Check the data plate before you order.

What’s included
One element per unitThe model and position you select, supplied individually rather than as a set. Set the quantity if you are replacing more than one.
Element connectorsEvenheat say they include connectors with their heating elements, and list 2 connectors plus crimp-on ring terminals on most element packages.
Not includedNo element insulators, no thermocouple and no wiring harness. Those are separate parts — tell us what the repair involves and we will make sure nothing is missing.
Fitment checked before it shipsSeveral Evenheat models changed element count mid-production. Send us the model and serial number off the data plate and we will confirm the right part before anything leaves.

Common questions
Why are there two different elements for my HT-2?Evenheat changed the design mid-production. Serial number 123394 and below is a one-element oven; 123395 and above uses three elements. Evenheat are explicit that the three-element parts are for serial 123395 and above only, so read the data plate rather than guessing from the model name.
The Cube 7 needs three elements — do I order three? The Cube 7 uses one back-wall element and one element in each side wall, so a full set is one back wall plus two side walls. Set the quantity to two on the side-wall line if you are doing the whole kiln.
How do I know which element I need?Go by the model and serial number on your kiln’s data plate, and by the position of the element you are replacing. Several Evenheat models changed from a single element to three partway through production, so the serial number — not the model name — is what decides. Send us both and we will confirm the part before it ships.
Should I replace one element or the whole set?Elements age together. If one has failed on a kiln with a few hundred firings on it, the others are not far behind, and one fresh element beside two tired ones fires unevenly. Plenty of studios replace the full set for that reason. Ask us and we will price it both ways.
Do element connectors come with it?Evenheat say they include element connectors with their heating elements, and most element packages are listed as 2 connectors plus crimp-on ring terminals where the kiln needs them. If you want spares, or insulators, we sell both in packs of four.
Can I fit an element myself?Only if you are comfortable working inside a kiln control panel with the power isolated at the breaker. Most of these are 240V circuits. If there is any doubt at all, have an electrician or a kiln technician do the work — and let us confirm the part is right for your kiln first.
Send us your model and serial number firstEvenheat changed the element count on several models mid-production, so the serial number decides which part fits. Read it off the data plate, send it over, and we will confirm the right element before you pay — no guesswork on a live circuit.
