Evenheat · Replacement Parts · Floors Evenheat Kiln Floors Six models · Studio Pro, GTS and GT 4050 · Factory replacement The floor of a front-loading or box kiln takes the weight of every load and whatever runs off it. Replace it when it has cracked right through, lost a corner, or sagged enough that your shelves no longer sit level — surface pitting and glaze scars are cosmetic and can be ground back and re-washed. Pick your kiln from the list; these are model-specific and not interchangeable.

No elements, shelves or hardwareFloor only. If the elements in the floor channel are also tired, order those at the same time — the kiln is already stripped.
Common questions
Does a pitted floor need replacing?Usually not. Grind the high spots flat, brush off the loose material and re-apply kiln wash. Replace it when there is a crack through the full thickness, a corner has gone, or shelves will not sit level.
Can I fit it myself? On most of these models, yes. It is heavy and awkward rather than difficult. Take photos as you strip it so you know how the floor elements and their leads sit before you put the new one in.
Floor and lid together — or a new kiln?A floor alone is almost always worth it. Floor plus lid plus a full set of elements starts to approach a rebuild, and on an old body that is a real conversation. Send us photos and the age and we will give you a straight answer, not just the parts list.
Not sure which floor your kiln takes? Send us the model number off the data plate. We will confirm the part before anything ships, and tell you whether the floor is really the problem.
