What’s included
Olympic furniture kit Shelves, posts and a 1 lb bag of kiln wash, matched to your chamber. Olympic’s own specification: “2 each - 9" x 7" rectangle shelves, 4 each - 1, 3, 5-inch small square posts, 1 lb bag kiln wash.”
Assorted Stilt Kit — 30 stilts Glazed ware cannot sit on a bare shelf; the glaze melts and fuses it down. A mixed set covers tiles, plates, bowls and hollowware.
Insulated kiln gloves Heavy-duty and insulated, for handling hot shelves and posts and unloading a kiln that is still warm.
Kiln wash — 5 lb bag On top of the 1 lb bag in the furniture kit. Shelves need re-coating as you go, and running out mid-session is a nuisance.
Spare observation plug The peephole plug is the part people lose first, and a missing one pulls that side of the chamber cooler than the rest.
Not included Clay, glaze, and pyrometric cones. Your kiln fires on its digital controller, so cones are not needed to run it. Many potters still set a witness cone to confirm actual heatwork once they are dialling in a clay body — ask us and we will help you pick them. Also separate: a venting system, and the electrical work to get power to the kiln.
Ready-to-Fire gets you firing. An EPK keeps you firing. This kit is the furniture and consumables side. Elements, relays and a spare thermocouple live in the Olympic Emergency Parts Kit for your model — worth having on the shelf before you need it, not after.
