2-year limited warranty on brick kilns, 1-year on fiber kilns — direct from Jen-Ken.
Jen-Ken · Glass Kiln · ProFusion Fiber Series Jen-Ken ProFusion 26 Deep Glass Kiln Model AFG ProFusion 26 Deep · 240V · 26" x 26" x 14" chamber · 1,700°F The ProFusion 26 Deep is the working-studio size in Jen-Ken's fiber clamshell line. A 26" x 26" opening takes a full-size fusing shelf, and the 14 inches of height — measured from the floor to the bottom of the quartz element tubes — is what the word Deep is doing: there is room for real slumping moulds under the elements, not just flat work. Being all-fiber, it will run at Jen-Ken's quoted 500°F an hour up to 1,700°F, so a studio can get more than one firing out of a day. It needs a 240V 50-amp circuit on a NEMA 6-50R.

Key features
Orton AutoFire 12-key controllerJen-Ken fits the 12-button AutoFire as standard on this model — 23 preset programs plus 10 of your own, rather than the 3-button unit on the smaller kilns.
Integrated stand with castersJen-Ken lists a built-in stand with casters for this model, so it rolls into position instead of being lifted onto a bench.
Quartz-encased elementsThe elements run inside quartz tubes rather than being buried in the fiber, so the chamber can be all-fiber and still fire directly on the work.
Clamshell bodyThe upper half hinges open as one piece, so you load over an open shelf at waist height.
1-year limited warrantyJen-Ken's fiber-kiln warranty, direct from the factory to the original purchaser.
Built to order in FloridaAssembled in Jen-Ken's own Lakeland shop rather than drop-shipped from a distributor.
Optional accessories
Kiln shelves, posts and a furniture kitGlass wants a flat, primed shelf and fibre paper; casting wants posts and headroom. Jen-Ken's own shelves and posts are sized to this chamber and we stock them alongside the kiln. Tell us your shelf size and we will match it.
Kiln wash and shelf primerGlass will weld itself to an unprimed shelf. Most glass workers go through primer steadily, so it is worth adding to a first order.
Slumping moulds and fibre paperMoulds and fibre paper are the other half of a warm-glass setup. Tell us the shelf size you are working to and we will point you at what fits.
Controller upgradeJen-Ken fits the Orton AutoFire 12-key as standard and offers the Orton AutoFire Slide touchscreen and the SDS TAP II in its place. It is a factory option rather than a checkout add-on — call us and we will quote it.
Common questions
What electrical circuit does it need?240V single phase, 36 amps, 8,640 watts, a NEMA 6-50R receptacle, a 50-amp breaker and #6 copper. That is what Jen-Ken publishes and it agrees with the wiring table in their own owner's manual, so it is a figure we are happy to print. It is a dedicated run — a kiln is a continuous load and should not share a circuit. Have a licensed electrician confirm it against your local code before delivery.
What does "Deep" mean on this model?Fourteen inches of usable height, measured from the kiln floor up to the bottom of the quartz element tubes. That is the number that matters when you are buying a slumping mould, because the mould plus the glass has to clear the elements. Jen-Ken measures it that way on their own spec table and we have repeated their wording above.
What cone will it reach?Jen-Ken publishes no cone rating for any kiln in their glass line, and we have not invented one. What is published is the maximum temperature, which is in the table above. Cone numbers are a ceramics measure; for glass work the temperature and the firing schedule are what matter.
How fast can it fire?Jen-Ken quotes up to 500°F an hour to 1,700°F on this kiln. Fiber has very little thermal mass, which is what makes that possible and also what makes it cool quickly. Whether you should fire that fast is a question about your glass and your schedule, not about the kiln.
What actually comes in the crate?Jen-Ken does not publish a crate contents list for every model, so we do not want to guess. Call or email us and we will confirm exactly what ships with this kiln — stand, furniture, shelf — before you order.
How long until it ships?Jen-Ken builds to order in Lakeland, Florida. Their own guidance is that kilns can take several weeks to months depending on the production queue. Call us and we will get you the current estimate before you commit.
Does buying from Peach State Pottery affect my warranty? No. We are an authorized Jen-Ken dealer, so the factory warranty applies exactly as it would buying direct. Note that Jen-Ken warrants fiber kilns for one year and brick kilns for two — the ProFusion is a fiber kiln, so it is the one-year line. Keep your proof of purchase.
Sizing a fiber kiln for a working studio? We are authorized Jen-Ken dealers based in Georgia. Tell us what you are making and what power you have available, and we will tell you straight whether this is the right kiln — including when a cheaper one would do.

Common questions about this kiln

Still stuck? Call or text (470) 264-3563 and talk it through with a real person.

Is freight delivery included in the price?

No. Kiln prices do not include freight, and we do not quietly build it into the product price. Freight is charged at a flat rate based on your delivery address and is shown at checkout. Liftgate service is included when it is needed, and standard delivery is curbside. You can estimate your delivered cost with the ZIP code tool above the Add to Cart button.

Can I return this kiln if it is not right?

Return requests can be submitted within 30 days of delivery. The kiln needs to be in its original packaging, in new and resellable condition, and approved before it is sent back. A restocking fee may apply. Completing the manufacturer's recommended first test firing does not by itself make a kiln non-returnable, so you can confirm it works before you commit. Full terms are on our Returns page.

What electrical supply do I need for this kiln?

The Specifications tab on this page lists this model's voltage, amperage, required breaker size and NEMA plug configuration. Most 240V kilns need their own dedicated circuit fitted by a licensed electrician, while many 120V models run from a standard household outlet. If you are unsure what your space can support, call or text (470) 264-3563 before ordering.

Does this kiln come with a warranty?

Yes. This kiln carries the Jen-Ken manufacturer warranty. Coverage length, what is included and any registration deadline are listed in the Specifications tab on this page. We are an authorized Jen-Ken dealer, which is a condition of warranty coverage on most kiln brands.

What comes with the kiln, and what do I need to buy separately?

The What's Included tab on this page lists exactly what ships with this kiln. Most kilns need shelves, posts and kiln wash before your first firing, and these are not always included. A vent is recommended for indoor installations. Any add-ons available for this model are shown above the Add to Cart button.
