Two halves to a level, so that is four full levels, every one of them split so you can unload one side without touching the other. Twenty-four posts, six each of 1", 2", 4" and 6", and a pound of shelf primer. We carry the Mega Coil 2829 3" and the AF 2829 3".

Common questions
Which kilns does this fit?Jen-Ken lists it as the furniture kit for the 2829. We carry the Mega Coil 2829 3" and the AF 2829 3". Jen-Ken names the kiln model in the kit's title only — they publish no separate compatibility list. Send us your model number and we will confirm it.
How is this different from the Furniture Kit 2822?Two more half shelves — eight instead of six, so four levels instead of three — for $700 against $510. The posts are the same in both kits: twenty-four, six each of 1", 2", 4" and 6". So is the pound of primer.
Will twenty-four posts cover four levels?It is tight. Four levels of split shelf want twelve posts of a single height at once, and the kit gives you six per height. Most 2829 owners add a second set of posts in the height they use most — we sell them individually.
Should I add a full shelf?Many people do, for the bottom level. Send us your model number and we will confirm which full shelf fits the 2829.

Is freight delivery included in the price?

No. Kiln prices do not include freight, and we do not quietly build it into the product price. Freight is charged at a flat rate based on your delivery address and is shown at checkout. Liftgate service is included when it is needed, and standard delivery is curbside. You can estimate your delivered cost with the ZIP code tool above the Add to Cart button.

Can I return this kiln if it is not right?

Return requests can be submitted within 30 days of delivery. The kiln needs to be in its original packaging, in new and resellable condition, and approved before it is sent back. A restocking fee may apply. Completing the manufacturer's recommended first test firing does not by itself make a kiln non-returnable, so you can confirm it works before you commit. What electrical supply do I need for this kiln?

The Specifications tab on this page lists this model's voltage, amperage, required breaker size and NEMA plug configuration. Most 240V kilns need their own dedicated circuit fitted by a licensed electrician, while many 120V models run from a standard household outlet. Does this kiln come with a warranty?

Yes. This kiln carries the Jen-Ken manufacturer warranty. Coverage length, what is included and any registration deadline are listed in the Specifications tab on this page. We are an authorized Jen-Ken dealer, which is a condition of warranty coverage on most kiln brands.
