Common questions
Which kit fits my kiln?Go by the model on the data plate and pick the matching line. The Junior kits are for the shorter version of the same diameter, so a 911 Junior and a 911 are different kits — check the model carefully, or send it to us.
Can I buy the shelves and posts separately instead?Yes, and sometimes that is cheaper if you only need part of a set. Our Cress Kiln Shelves and Cress Kiln Posts pages list them individually. Ask us and we will price it both ways.
How do I know this is the right part for my kiln?Send us the model and serial number off the kiln's data plate, at sales@peachstatepottery.com or (470) 264-3563. Cress built kilns for decades and their part lists use a shorthand that does not always map cleanly onto a model name, so we check it by hand rather than letting you guess.
Are these genuine Cress parts?Yes. We are an authorized Cress dealer and everything here is ordered from Cress in Carson City, Nevada, against their current parts list.
What if Cress no longer makes the part I need?Tell us the part anyway. Cress is still manufacturing, and where a part has been superseded they usually have a current equivalent — we would rather find it for you than let you buy the wrong thing.
