What types of steel can I heat treat in the KM24 Double Barrel?
The KM24 reaches 2350°F, which is sufficient for heat treating high-carbon steels (1095, 1084, W2), stainless steels (440C, AEB-L, 154CM), tool steels (O1, A2, D2), and Damascus steel. This temperature range covers the austenitizing temperatures for virtually all common knife-making alloys.
