The 2827HE requires a dedicated 60-amp circuit with 6 AWG copper wire minimum. It can run on 240V single phase or 208V three phase power. A licensed electrician must install the appropriate circuit and connection method (hardwired or NEMA 6-50 receptacle). Confirm your building's available voltage before ordering, as amperage and wattage vary between 240V and 208V installations. Does the Freedom Package include kiln shelves and posts? Yes. The Freedom Package includes a complete furniture kit with high-temperature shelves and posts sized for the 28.25″ chamber diameter. This is one of the key advantages of the Freedom Package—you receive everything needed to start firing immediately without purchasing furniture separately. How does the stackable design work on Olympic kilns? Olympic's stackable kilns use modular sections that can be added or removed to adjust chamber height. Each section includes elements and connects with simple fasteners. You can purchase additional sections to increase firing capacity or remove sections to fire shorter loads more efficiently. The 2827HE ships as a complete 27″ height chamber but is compatible with Olympic's stackable section system. What's the difference between the Freedom Package and buying the kiln separately? The Freedom Package bundles the 2827HE kiln body with three critical upgrades: the Genesis touchscreen controller (instead of standard KilnStar), a solid state relay for better temperature control, and a complete furniture kit. Buying these components separately would cost significantly more than the Freedom Package price. This is Olympic's turnkey solution for potters who want a complete, ready-to-fire system. How do I register my warranty? Olympic requires warranty registration within 30 days of delivery. You'll receive registration instructions with your kiln shipment. Warranty is valid only when purchased through authorized dealers like Peach State Pottery. Register online at Olympic's website with your serial number, purchase date, and dealer information. Not sure if the Olympic 2827HE Freedom Package is the right kiln for your space? Our team can help you verify electrical compatibility, compare package options, and coordinate delivery in the Atlanta area. Talk to an expert →
