The 2023HE features a unique oval chamber design that maximizes capacity for large platters, oval serving pieces, and wide sculptural work that won't fit in standard round kilns. At 30 inches wide and 20 inches front-to-back, this 7.2 cubic foot kiln fires to cone 10 on 240V single-phase power with the KilnStar digital controller. The oval footprint saves floor space compared to square kilns while providing generous width for oversized functional ware.

What electrical service does the 2023HE require?
The 2023HE requires 240V or 208V single-phase power at 48 amps, with a recommended 60-amp dedicated breaker. The kiln must be hardwired by a licensed electrician using 6 AWG copper wire minimum. It cannot be plugged into a standard outlet. You'll need to verify your electrical panel has capacity for this load before installation.
Does this kiln include kiln shelves and posts?
