Common questions What electrical work is required to install this kiln? The MAS2327HE requires a dedicated 60-amp circuit at 240V (or 70-amp at 208V) with 6 AWG copper wiring. The kiln does not include a plug and must be hardwired by a licensed electrician. Verify your facility voltage before ordering, as most residential and light commercial buildings provide 240V, while some industrial and university buildings use 208V three-phase systems. What does the included furniture kit contain? This kiln ships with a complete set of round kiln shelves and assorted posts sized specifically for the 23.375″ diameter chamber. The exact configuration varies but typically includes multiple full and half shelves in high-alumina cordierite composition, plus a variety of post heights for flexible stacking arrangements. Additional shelves and specialty furniture can be ordered separately. How quickly will this Quick-Ship kiln be delivered? Quick-Ship models are stocked at Peach State Pottery and typically ship within 3-5 business days of order placement, compared to the standard 8-12 week manufacturing lead time for build-to-order Olympic kilns. Delivery time depends on your location and freight carrier schedules, but most Atlanta-area customers receive their kiln within one week of ordering. How do I register my warranty with Olympic Kilns? You must register your kiln within 30 days of delivery to activate the one-year limited warranty. Registration is completed through Olympic Kilns' website using your serial number and proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. Peach State Pottery will provide all necessary documentation with your kiln delivery. Warranty coverage includes parts replacement for manufacturing defects but does not cover normal wear items like elements or thermocouples. Can this kiln be expanded or modified later? The stackable design allows the kiln to be disassembled for element replacement and maintenance, but Olympic does not offer additional ring sections to expand chamber depth on this model. You can add accessories like SSR upgrades, ventilation systems, multi-zone control, and lid lifts at any time. The controller can be upgraded to the Genesis touchscreen after installation if you choose the standard KilnStar initially. Not sure if the MAS2327HE is the right kiln for your space? Our team can help you verify electrical compatibility, compare kiln sizes, and coordinate delivery logistics for your studio or institution. Talk to an expert →
